Due to popular demand (!), listed below are various eating establishments that I would recommend, suiting all tastes and budgets.
I am of course unable to guarantee that they all serve lobster...
There are of course many other great restaurants, but I've concentrated on my particular favourites.
Unless shown, the food served at the establishment is traditional to the country concerned.
Bosville Terrace, Portree, Isle of Skye IV51 9DG
(Good choice, whether for lunch or dinner)
Tel: 01478 612846
150 Commercial Street, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6LB
(Good selection of Indian dishes, in smart naval surroundings! - also good for 'carry outs')
Tel: 0131 555 2255
43 Frederick Street, Edinburgh EH2 1EP

Cramond Village, Edinburgh EH4
(Away from the city, this is probably the best pub grub for miles around).
Tel: 0131 336 2035

(It's said that you can't judge a book by its cover. The same applies to Rendezvous, as you have to go up some back stairs to enter this restaurant and the exterior of the building could do with a bit of a facelift. But the food is excellent and the service is attentive yet not over-bearing. I'll happily return).
